The Art of Eight Limbs

Lumpinee Super Champ (LSC) is the prestigious weekly Saturday night Muay Thai promotion held at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium — the most celebrated Muay Thai arena in the world. For decades, a Lumpinee belt has been the highest honour any nak muay can pursue, and the Saturday night card brings the very best regional and international talent together on a single stage.

The 15 August edition showcases an exceptionally international card: fighters from Thailand, Myanmar, Iran, China, Indonesia, the United States, Italy, Japan, and Laos will compete across seven weight classes, offering fans a compelling mix of local and international talent.

The main event pits Thai contenders Mongkolchai of Kiatchailek against Charoenphon of Sor. Maneekhot in the 134-pound showcase bout — an all-Thai clash of contrasting styles that promises fireworks from the opening round to the final bell.

Whether you're a first-time visitor to Bangkok looking for an authentic cultural experience, or a dedicated fight fan chasing elite bouts, Lumpinee Super Champ on a Saturday night is simply unmissable.

  • Lumpinee Boxing Stadium
Founded in 1956, Lumpinee is the largest Muay Thai stadium in Thailand and is managed by the Royal Thai Army. A title here is the most coveted belt in the sport.
  • Wai Khru Ceremony
Each fighter performs the sacred Wai Khru Ram Muay pre-fight ritual — a deeply spiritual dance that pays respect to teachers and ancestors before battle begins.
  • International Fight Card
6+ nations represented on this card: Thailand, Myanmar, Iran, China, Indonesia, United States, Italy, Japan, and Laos — a truly global night of Muay Thai.
  • Live Broadcast
The entire event is streamed free on the Lumpinee Super Champ YouTube channel for fans worldwide who can't attend in person.
  • 5-Round Format
Professional bouts follow the traditional 5 × 3-minute round format with live Sarama music — the driving pi-java melody that quickens with the pace of each fight.
